2023/2024 Season
The staff and volunteers at Queen City Athletics cordially invite you to be a part of our first ever Regional and National Competitive Volleyball team in Meridian, MS. In an effort to attract more athletes and to create a more southern hospitable atmosphere, we proudly boast our city nickname, Queen City, as the name of our organization. We strive to always incorporate our unique southern traditions by supporting local businesses and artisans to create a wonderful opportunity for athletics in our area. With your help, we know it will grow and prosper. Currently we have a large number of interested athletes and we anticipate even more as the word gets out about this incredible opportunity to expand the sport of volleyball.
Our season will begin in November and run through May, in which we will participate in our final regional tournament. Our club will consist of several opportunities for athletes at every level of play from beginner to advanced. Our league will consist of a Travel Team, in which we will travel to tournaments to compete against other club teams in the Delta Region. QCA will also service an in-house league, casting a wide net for players starting at the age of 10 through 18 where individuals will train much like a high school/college volleyball team and play exhibition/tournament games at the end of each semester. In addition to our Kingdom League, we will host Youth Academy for those looking to learn more about the game of volleyball, game strategy, fundamentals and more! One of our more exciting features is the announcement that USA Volleyball is allowing co-ed teams. While volleyball has generally targeted female athletes, we are honored to be able to invite male athletes to join our club as well!
In order for Meridian’s Premier Club Volleyball Program to succeed, we are seeking sponsors for the upcoming 2023-2024 season. Our sponsorship levels are listed on the back of this invitation letter for you to review. As a sponsor, you will receive not only the perks that go along with your level of choice, but the gratification of contributing to the growing popularity of volleyball and helping us continue that growth by bringing more and more athletes to the Meridian area. Your donation will directly impact our ability to provide a safe, well-organized and exciting sports league! Our athletes and competition will come from all over the southeastern area, bringing with them family, friends and colleagues that support our area businesses while also experiencing the beauty and history of our Queen City! These athletes will then return home to share their positive experiences, shining a light on our great city. We know that joining our team can bring endless rewards for your business and community.
